Dr. Oskar Z. Olszewski received the B. Sc. in Electronics from Gdynia Maritime Academy, in Poland (2002), the M. Eng. Sc. in Electronic Engineering from Cork Institute of Technology in Ireland (2004), and the Ph.D. degree in Microelectronics from University College Cork in Ireland (2010). He is currently working at the Tyndall National Institute in Cork, Ireland and is involved in research projects on design/modeling, fabrication and reliability of MEMS structures such as harvesters, resonators, sensors, actuators and switches. Projects are co-funded by industrial partners, Irish and European agencies.

 * Specialties and Skills:
Micro-Electro-Mechanical devices design, modelling, processing, characterisation, reliability tests and optimization; device mask layout design; white light interferometry tests (Zygo and Polytec); 3D FEM modelling; supervision and management; experienced in laboratory measurements; able to plan and effectively apply multidisciplinary research project and present technical results.

optimization; Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) technology; Micro and Nano
